Denielle's Craft Retreats are the perfect place for women of all ages and at all stages of life to come together and craft in a friendly, sharing and caring environment. The beautiful and tranquil setting not only encourages creativity, it provides the perfect backdrop for a group of like minded women to commune and take a well deserved break from their busy lives. The retreats are very affordable and extremely well run. Denielle has had lots of practice organising craft retreats in the past and goes out of her way to ensure that each person feels welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend that you treat yourself to a craft retreat and find out for yourself.

I've been lucky enough to be a regular attendee of Denielle's Hunter Valley Craft Retreat for the last 3 years. This retreat is very well organised, GREAT value for money and set in a very peaceful and tranquil setting. They are very important for me as I use the time unwind and recharge my worn out Mum batteries with the added bonus of crafting child free. I feel very blessed to know such a wonderful group of women and I look forward to meeting new faces and making new friendships whenever possible. Denielle goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is happy and comfortable during their stay. I guarantee that once you've been you will be back 😊. I look forward to meeting you all soon 💕 Kathy Blunt

Another lovely time at retreat catching up with old friends and making some new ones. Always a very relaxing time in a beautiful spot. Stress free, do as much as you want or as little as you want, do whatever craft you choose with like minded people. Knit, sew, paint, scrapbook, make cards, quilt, bead, whatever your little heart desires. Don't want to craft, no worries, read a book. sleep, up to you, Denielle offers a quiet spot for you to relax and do whatever it is you need or want to do. Thanks for another great time.

My friends and I had our first retreat with Denielle just over a week ago and we loved it. There were so many things we loved - the crafting space, the accommodations were basic but very warm and comfortable, a yummy morning tea served on both days (my favorite sponge cake with strawberries and cream), we met some lovely new friends, had a lot of laughs and Denielle looked after us and made sure everyone was happy. She made us feel like we'd known her forever. It was fantastic. We loved it so much we have booked again next year!

I was introduced to Denielle's craft camps by a scrapbooking friend. Thank you Denielle for a brilliant weekend all organised with care and patience Thanks also to a wonderful group of ladies all willing to share their crafting skills. I come up from Sydney to this great peaceful venue and share in the contagious laughter of this group. Thanks Denielle. Wendy Preston from Grays Point.

I have been attending Denielle's Craft Retreats for the past 5 years and it is by far the best craft weekend away that I have ever attended. Everything is organised and the accommodation is both inspiring and historical. Everything is organised by Denielle so that your stay will be both comfortable and productive - and a lot of fun! The accommodation is both historical and inspiring, but with new industrial kitchen and extra large craft room - and a log fire for those cold winter nights. I have been to camps before, but this one is a keeper.

Just spent another wonderful weekend at Denielle's craft retreat. Vacy is a super place to go - quiet, beautiful countryside. Mind you the quietness can be disturbed by the laughter of the crafters. I am a scrap booker but lots of my friends are card makers. It was fabulous meeting new people this weekend, and it sure didn't take long before we were all friends. You can do as much or as little as you like - I took time out to read in the sun, go for a walk, take a nap and do a few sudoku puzzles. Denielle shares her enthusiasm with us and is a wonderful hostess. I love that we can just eat when we want to and make tea or coffee at any time of day or night. The beds are comfortable, there is no traffic to disturb your sleep - if you choose to go to bed - and it's lovely and dark in the rooms.
I have been to quite a few retreats over the past few years, and am booked into more for this year. You have to try it, you will love it - and want to keep coming back time and again

Great value for money!
So far I have been to five retreats from 2014 to 2017.

I live on a main road where I hear traffic constantly so every year I look forward to this retreat where I hear only peace and quiet.

From 2014 I have been going to these retreats once a year but I love them so much that this year I have been twice!
Usually I buddy up with a friend but I have made new crafty like-minded friends that in June 2017 I went on my own and it was just as good.

Denielle Bernauer is the perfect hostess and knows how to make everyone feel comfortable and happy. She understands people and knows how to help each person enjoy the retreat - whether they want company or not while crafting. Plus the fact that you get to bring your own food is a bonus as you can then eat what you want rather than paying for a menu that isn't to your personal tastes. Great thinking 99!

Also, since 2013 my husband has non-Hodgkin follicular lymphoma and this is where I come to get away from it all and recharge my batteries.

Thank you Denielle!

I have been on many retreats over the years, but this one was a stunning location and the most reasonable in price. Retreats are a fun getaway with friends.
